p. 2 Medical in 2014, David worked for E&A companies and ran their medical equipment business, Ultra Solutions, in Ontario, Calif. Even during David's time in California, he remained in touch with his Phi Delt brothers. Some of David's favorite memories of Indiana Zeta included playing card games in the wee hours of the morning and the annual Maui party with the band Mike and Joe. "We have a core group of six of us. Those bonds have never been broken," David said. "We had a lot of success within the house. We followed up our super small pledge class with a pledge class of over 30. We then went on to be house of the year on campus and runners-up for the Founders Trophy. That core group already has plans to get together twice this summer and resume the card games." Along with making more memories with some of his closest friends, David enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife (a "townie," Casey Brackney Trogden '04, Delta Gamma-Gamma Iota Chapter) and two daughters. This time of the year is one of David's favorites because he loves cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA tournament. You can connect with David at dtrogden@gmail.com. Phi Delta Theta Drives David Trogden '04 to Successful Career (Continued from page 1) M any great things have happened at Indiana Zeta over the past semester. The Chapter's academics have shown progress from last semester, rising above the all-male University GPA average. We also saw an increase in the house GPA of .04 from the 2018 spring semester. A strong first semester carried over to recruitment, as we gained 27 new Phikeias. This was made possible by Chairman Philip Bork '19, who oversaw the entire rush process and ultimately delivered a great new pledge class. Along with thriving in the classroom, our brothers found success on the field in several varsity sports. Andrew Gold '19 and Justin Mitchell '19 both earned all-NCAC honors in soccer with Andrew being selected to the first team and Justin being picked as an honorable mention. On the gridiron, Hunter Sego '19 was a starting safety for the football team, accumulating 34 tackles across 10 games. At the time of writing, the baseball and tennis teams (with captain Alex Bertolini '19) are just getting into their seasons. Including new members, about 40 members play across five different varsity sports. The members of Indiana Zeta are excited about the Chapter's progress over the past semester and we hope our current success paves the way for many years to come.
