They are never ever going to ask you to make a payment via gift card or wire transfer. Please keep this in mind if you receive a call from anyone asking for per- sonal information or payment over the phone. There are far too many people fall- ing for these scams and making payments to criminals. Don't let yourself, friends or loved ones be a victim. If someone calls you saying they're the IRS, APS or any other government/business and they're asking for payment of any kind over the phone, don't do it.
