Jimmy's last position held was the Command Sergeant Major of the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa. Jimmy has served in numerous senior enlisted positions in the 25th Infantry Division, 3rd Infantry Division, and 82nd Airborne Division. Jimmy also served as the 17th Engineer Regimental CSM. Jimmy is married to the former Kim James and they have two children and his family resides in Autryville, NC. Command Sgt. Major (CSM) Cris Nunez joined the U.S. Army in December 1978. It was the start of an illustrious career. A graduate of Class 49 Sergeants Majors Academy, also Sapper Leaders Course Graduate 1987, and Drill Sergeant School graduate. Cris had an array of significant assignments during his nearly 30-year career, serving at every noncommissioned officer level to include CSM of the 307th Engineer Battalion, CSM 20TH Engineer Brigade, CSM Fort Bragg Garrison, culminating as Task Force Bragg CSM, Command Sergeant Major for the XVIII Airborne Corp and Fort Bragg. Since his retirement Cris has been employed by Veterans United Home Loans and dedicated his life to help the Soldiers and Families of Fort Bragg. He is married to the former Lourdes Lopez and has 3 children and six grandchildren. Steven Moore is a marketing executive in the Fayetteville office of Brand Alliance, where he works with corporate clients to help them sell their products and services, and he assists military leaders in recognizing soldiers and promoting programs such as retention and safety. He is known worldwide as a specialist in commemorative medallions and lapel pins, and has worked on nearly 2,000 unique designs on what Army customers call challenge coins. He has in his office more than 1,000 individual challenge coins on display, which has become a local point of interest. "Shortly after I entered the business community in 1993, I joined MAC to reconnect with Fort Bragg," Moore said. He had previously worked as an Army civilian employee in the public affairs field for 10 years. At age 22, he first came to Fayetteville to work at XVIII Airborne Corps, and later would be transferred to the Special Ops side, back when it was called 1st SOCOM. "While I would say I initially joined MAC for social reasons, I came to realize that, post 9-11, MAC plays a crucial role as our community's most outward and visible sign of support for our neighbors, who happen to be soldiers constantly deploying in and out of dangerous places."
