Official Kids Mag

First year under our belt It's been a busy year at Official Kids mag. Last march the Official Kids mag team launched this magazine and Web site with the aim of inspiring kids to step up, do good work volunteering in the community and be great role models for younger kids. Young people all around the region met our challenge and we are super proud of those kids, just like you. We call them Kid heroes. So many local kids went the extra mile in the last year to make a difference. From Fayetteville to Branson, Grand Lake in Oklahoma to Bella Vista, kids volunteered and learned a little – or a lot – along the way. We've met and profiled kids who volunteered at local animal shelters, kids who mentor their friends and family members and we met kids who like to get into the kitchen and get cooking. We've said hello to Jell-O, decorated healthy pancakes at Village Inn and enjoyed a smoothie or three. Official Kids mag loves to let kids show off their style and flair in our Official Kids mag fashion shoots. We've had kids strut their stuff on the runway at Dillard's showing off some christmas outfits. We brought a posse of cool kids together at cavendar's Western Wear to model some stytlin' western togs and horse around a little. all that to say this… It's been a great first year for Official Kids mag and I've been proud to be a part of it. This is my last issue with Official Kids mag and I'll be heading on to a new opportunity. I take away a lot I learned from the hundreds of kids we met in the last year. I hope the kids who the magazine has touched continue to reach for the stars, volunteer, mentor, make positive change and … along the way … learn something. The Official Kids mag team will continue to spotlight kids around the region and make sure they recognize kids who do good work in the communities they live. If we have made a difference in one kids life during the last year, my job is done.
