Is that true? — Jeff Phillips, via e-mail A : It's all but certain, though a pilot has to be made first — and that will happen as an episode of CBS' parent "FBI" show be- fore that series ends its cur- rent freshman season. That might seem a little fast, but with the Missy Peregrym-star- ring "FBI" being so successful in its first year, executive producer Dick Wolf made no secret early on that he want- ed to build out the franchise (as with his NBC "Chicago" shows) if that happened. The spinoff will be called "FBI: Most Wanted," named for the famous list that federal agents go by in pursuing the criminals they most want to capture. CBS already has made a series commitment to it, so if the network ultimately decides not to go with it, that would be a huge payday for Wolf. In other words, expect to see it next season.
