P A G E 2 T he Illinois Zeta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi has had many successes this past year! We are proud to announce that almost 40 of our members received a GPA of 4.0 this past academic year. is, and improvements across all our members' GPAs, allowed our overall chapter GPA to be in the top 10 of all sororities and fraternities at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to our success in the classroom, we were able to donate $4,000 to Read > Lead > Achieve ® . We held various events throughout the semester, including our annual philanthropy dinner and philanthropy games, Arrow Spike. In addition to getting fraternities to participate in our philanthropy event, we participated in over 10 external philanthropy events on campus. roughout the year, women participated in many intramural games, including basketball, football, volleyball, dodgeball and soccer, against other fraternities. Members are excited to participate in more games next semester. e chapter recently elected our new Executive Council! We had our Exec retreat toward the end of the semester with the Alumnae Advisory Committee and have so many ideas that we can't wait to implement. Our Vice President of Member Development (VPMD), Vice President of Finance (VPF) and I are very excited to attend Pi Phi College Weekend in January to learn how to better our positions and take our chapter to the next level! As for facility updates, we were fortunate enough to have had our bathrooms redone this past summer. ey are an amazing improvement and we are all so grateful. Many alumnae of Illinois Zeta have been coming back to visit recently and have raved about them! We encourage all alumnae to stop by whenever they get the chance.
