"Doctor Who" Though the original series went away with little fanfare in 1989, the reboot came back with a roar, with much-improved special effects and more gripping tales of the time- traveling Doctor and his TARDIS. "Fuller House" A heavy dose of nostalgia for the original 1987-95 series helps sustain this Netflix comedy about the further adventures of D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy (Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber), now adults with children and living together in the original Tanner home in San Francisco. "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" The four episodes from this 2016 dramedy put a satisfying coda to the original 2000-07 series with the much- anticipated wedding of Luke and Lorelai and the mending of fences among three generations of Gilmore women. "Twin Peaks: The Return" Still weird after all these years, David Lynch's series about the eccentric citizens of a Washington State lumber town returned after 27 years and centered on storylines connected through FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan).
