O'Neil Williams and his two sons Joshua and Jacob Williams, left, along with their coach Travis Ballard are pictured. (Pictured from left are: Jacob, O'Neil, Travis and Joshua.) O'Neil and the boys say this is something very special to take this jour- ney together. CREEDMOOR – It's more treat than trick every Halloween on the main drag of Creedmoor, as local Masons join local businesses in opening their doors during the annual Trunk or Treat night. About 15 brethren and their spouses from Creedmoor #499 handed out treats to several thousand costumed kids from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., says Secretary Steve Haskins. Brothers also welcomed folks into the lodge for tours and as a rest stop. OXFORD – While pool construction contin- ues, the official cornerstone for the new facility at the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford has been dedicated. Grand Master Speed Hallman, joined by fellow Grand Line officers, started the day at the annual MHCO Homecoming with the ceremony not far from the site where the pool will be up and running by next swim season. SELMA – In August, Selma #320 presented checks to the SECU Hos- pice House and to Edgerton Memo- rial United Methodist Church Food Bank in the amounts of $1,442.40 each. The checks represented the net proceeds from the lodge's an- nual raffle fundraiser. Funds nor- mally go to providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors, but this year the lodge voted to raise funds for organizations in the community, in addition to providing two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. Pictured, Brother Roger Di- egele (center) presents a check to David Dennis, left, and Mrs. Sol Hal- liburton for SECU Hospice House and Brother Michael Mooney, far right, presents a check to Mrs. Ann Creech for the Food Bank.
