Chi Omega had the honor of partnering with the men of FarmHouse for Homecoming. C hi Omega celebrated "America's Greatest Homecoming" events during the week of October 21-28, 2018, culminating Saturday evening at Boone Pickens Stadium when the Cowboys took on the Longhorns of Texas, winning the game 38-35. Paired with the men of FarmHouse and celebrating this year's theme of "Cowboys Ride On," the members enjoyed an active and exciting Homecoming celebration. Chi Omega's Homecoming leadership team ensured that the week's events ran smoothly. The following active members served in leadership positions: • Erin McCarthy-organizational director • Kristy Johnson-head director • Maddy Sheriff-design director • Elise Dilks-engineering director • Adrienne Blakey-design director • Sam Schietzac- engineering assistant • Anna Wagar-design director • Addie Chapman-organizational assistant In addition to the house decoration competition, the members competed in Basketball Frenzy, changed from Football Frenzy due to bad weather this year, and the sign competition. Also, all Greek houses participated in two categories throughout the Homecoming festivities: safety and spirit. Safety is judged based on precautions taken during pomping, while spirit is judged as overall enthusiasm throughout the Homecoming events. Our own Chi Omega president, Alma Rios '15, a biochemistry major from Buffalo, OK, was selected as a royalty candidate. We are so proud of each of our members and the hard work that went into continuing the Chi Omega tradition of excellence during OSU's Homecoming celebration!
