Dec. 15 With the Christmas Season ap- proaching the Quartzsite Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is honored to continue the tradition of the Christmas Light Parade. The 15th Annual Christmas Light Pa- rade will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 7:00pm. Celebrate the sea- son: enter a fl oat, vehicle, or ATV in the parade, A tree lighting ceremony and re- freshments will be held at the Com- munity Center, 295 E. Chandler fol- lowing the parade, and the trophies will be given out at that time. There will also be Santa and Mrs. Claus to greet the children and take photos if requested. Parade applications are available at the Quartzsite Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism 1240 W. Main St. and Quartzsite Town Hall, 465 N. Plymouth Ave. The deadline for applications is December 10, 2018. Applications can be turned in at the Chamber offi ce or Quartzsite Town Hall. There is no entry fee. All entries are welcome as long as they are in the theme of Christmas and are lit so the judges can see them well. Entrants will be given a numbered plate to attach to the left side of their vehicle or entry so the judges can see them clearly.
