The Minnesota native proudly served in the United States Army and graduated with honors from the Military's Club Management & Culinary Arts School. He spent time with the Army Culinary Arts Team, and was a general's enlisted aide and the NCOIC of a Military Bed and Breakfast (Sink House). In 1990, Pannhoff founded B&B Catering Inc. in Spring Lake, NC. B&B has lead the market for over 26 years, winning "Best Caterer" in the area 22 times. He became a chamber member in 1991 because he believed it was the best way to improve his business prospects and learn more about the community. "Over the last 26 year of membership I have seen positive fruit from my investment in the chamber and have had great respect for it" Pannhoff said. He has taken his expertise to benefit the Greater Fayetteville Chamber by serving as a member of the Military Affairs Council Steering Committee. "Im a veteran. I love the Military and think they are the best in the entire world. I'd rather hang out with them than go to work so by joining MAC I combined both. AIRBORNE… ALL THE WAY.." Pannhoff said. "Being a hospitality guy I know a lot of people in this community and will do my best to be involved with organizations like the chamber and MAC that can bring us all to another level of doing business. I believe this is the best way for business to lead the way." Tammy S. Thurman began her career in the natural gas industry in 2003 in Fayetteville North Carolina. During her 15-year tenure in the industry, she has held numerous positions and is currently responsible for the community relations and local government for all of eastern North Carolina for Piedmont Natural Gas. "Volunteering gives me the chance to vote every day about the kind of community and world I want to live in" Thurman said. "It gives me the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself and use my civic responsibility for the greater good." She see her actions both big and small, as having an impact on someone's life. "By serving on MAC I am getting the opportunity to help build a strong and sustainable relationship with the Fayetteville business community and our Ft. Bragg Heroes. " Just recently Thurman was honored for outstanding leadership experience and dedicated service to the State of North Carolina, the Leadership North Carolina Board of Directors and the Office of the Governor. She is an alumni of Leadership North Carolina, the prestigious 45 under 45 and St. Augustine's University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from St. Augustine's University and is a licensed minister. MEET THE MILITARY AFFAIRS COUNCIL STEERING COMMITTEE BOARD MEMBER PROFILES
