We helped raise a record number of money for breast cancer awareness through Zeta Tau Alpha's BMOC competition, where we placed second. The total for the entire event was over $110,000, with our ΑΓΡ chapter donating $10,000 to the cause. We donated over $500 to testicular cancer research through our Sandy Slam Event, making a total of $10,000 donated to this cause over the past decade. We also had a record attendance of alumni at Founders Day this past spring, where we listened to Brian Cardinal speak to us about pursuing our goals and perseverance. At the National Convention in New Orleans, we won the top recruitment award for all national chapters and received the honorable mention award for scholastic achievement. We had six members attend National Convention along with our adviser, Nathan Manges '05. We also conducted a project this summer: renovating our house. Many hours went into removing furniture, cleaning out the parlor, storing old documents, and moving kitchen appliances. With the backing of alumni and the entire active chapter, we got all items moved out of the house, and subsequently moved back in once the renovation was over. Thanks to our alumni's generosity and commitment to brotherhood, we accomplished a much-needed overhaul for our home. Thank you all for your dedication to your fellow brothers. Along with the renovation, we welcomed fine new members into our brotherhood. Our freshman class consists of 31 men, many of whom rushed in the spring. Based on the past accomplishments of these men and the numerous alumni recommendations we received, we have high expectations for the coming year. We hope to have an even greater impact on campus this coming year, and hope to continue showing Purdue, and our nation, what Alpha Gamma Rho is all about. Fraternally, Zane Gottschalk '15 Chapter President zgottsch@purdue.edu Jacob Haas '16 was our BMOC candidate; he helped bring home awards for People's Choice and was the second best talent act of the night. ΑΓΡ placed second in the competition and donated over $10,000 to support breast cancer awareness. At National Convention in New Orleans, Delta Chapter won awards for scholarship as well as the top recruitment award for the nation. Left to right, Nathan Hughes '15, Devin Tracy '15, Zane Gottschalk '15, Jacob Stevenson '15, and Zachary English '15. Standing center is Ted Priebe '65, a proud Delta ΑΓΡ alumnus and past Grand President for the Alpha Gamma Rho National Board. The son and grandson of Mike Hurt presenting three scholarships given out in his honor. The recipients this year, from left to right, were: Travis Koester '16, Drew Utterback '17, and Jeremy Fuhrmann '18. Every semester, Alpha Gamma Rho cleans up our section of River Road, which we adopted more than a decade ago. Not only is the event great for brotherhood bonding, we get to give back to the Purdue community that has given us great opportunities and furthered our education. Welcome, Fall 2018 NeW members
