The maker of die-struck diamond essentials like bands and bangle bracelets is gaining sales momentum from its New York City perch thanks to superior construc- tion, speedy customer service, made in platinum and 18k gold, including a nickel-free variety of 18k white gold. "We manufacture our own product right in New York City," explains Peter Smith, president, who joined the company nearly four years ago. Smith and fi rm founder Manish Dhadda ensure that 160 stores nationwide can access the core SKUs that account for upwards of 40 percent of all diamond jewelry sales, and all under the store's name. "Nowhere will you see our jewelry sold as VIBHOR," says Smith about the rising star among private-label jewelry makers. With turnkey programs that ship in two to three weeks rather than the industry standard of four to six, along with U.S. manu- facturing—"We're not waiting for some guy overseas to make it," says Smith—VIBHOR is The Die-Struck Core Diamond Essentials House BY JENNIFER HEEBNER The Die-Struck Core Diamond Essentials Manish Dhadda
