Fall on the Hill:
Chi Omega Made Safer
with Parking Lot Updates,
House Corporation to
Focus on Interior This Year
T
he 2018-19 school year is off to a great start! There is nothing
better than fall on The Hill. It has been so fun to welcome another
outstanding new group of Lambdas as Chi Omega once again had a great
recruitment. We are also fortunate to welcome back Norma Jeanne and
Robert Lake. They take such great care of the members and the Chapter
House. If you find yourself back on campus, please do not hesitate to stop by
the house. We would love to show you around!
The summer was again a busy one for the House Corporation Board. As
we indicated in the spring, we undertook the big task of improving our
beloved parking lot. The new improvements definitely spruced up the back
of the house and made it a more appealing and safer space for our members
and visitors. Other updates to the Chapter House included much-needed
improvements to the kitchen and Chapter Room and continued installation
of new fan coil units. This year, the House Corporation will focus our
efforts on the upstairs to make sure individual living spaces fit the needs
of our current and future members. If you can believe it, our major
renovations to the upstairs were finished almost 20 years ago! We will
share with you our plans as we move forward.
We are so appreciative of the great support we receive to preserve and
maintain the house. Your generosity is vital to the sustained excellence
of Lambda.
Loyally,

THANK YOU,
LOYAL LAMBDA
ALUMNAE
A
special thanks goes to the 44 alumnae
who made gifts so far in 2018, totaling
more than $6,000! The successes achieved by
Lambda Chapter are directly attributed to the
loyal support from you and your sisters. Your
gifts allow us to provide an environment where
our undergraduates can prepare for excellence
in their lives after college while gaining
friendships that will last a lifetime.
Yours in Chi Omega,
