SEEING 100 YEARS CLEARLY IN 2020 Alumni Control Board Remains Strong and Steady Brothers, With the start of a new school year at Ohio Northern University our Alumni Control Board (ACB) and Chapter remain a strong and steady force on campus. roughout the summer we developed stronger relationships will all entities that support our Chapter. As you will read in this edition of e Link, Headquarters hosted a retreat for the Chapter at ONU's campus in August. e retreat was a positive experience for everyone in attendance, in- cluding the ACB members, the actives, and our newly formed Collegiate Chapter Advi- sory Board (CCAB). Headquarters worked with the actives on recruitment techniques and risk management skills. It was beneficial for the ACB members in attendance as well because we walked away with a positive attitude toward Headquarters and are now more open in communication with them. You may be asking what this new CCAB is? is new advisory board was a requirement from our National office and Ohio North- ern University. e ACB worked closely with Headquarters to get the proper advi- sories in place that will continue to work closely with the Chapter and ACB. e ACB will remain the driving force oversee- ing the Chapter and alumni relations. e new CCAB will be assisting with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Chapter. e ACB has many short-term goals that we are trying to reach as we scale to the pinnacle of the pyramid with our 100-year celebration in 2020. We are working with the actives at the Chapter to complete as many house projects and updates as possible to make sure the house is in the best shape, not just for the celebration, but for the next 100 years. Many of the ACB members have been volunteering their time, connections, and resources to make sure that our 100- year celebration will be one never to forget. We remain driven as an ACB to make the Chapter stronger than ever before. is wouldn't be possible without the help of all of our brothers and our combined efforts to repay the debt! YITBOS, Garrett Gottlieb '07 ACB President
