And beyond the show, she fi nds the foundation's outreach incredibly helpful and important. "The gratitude is indescribable, and what they do is such good work," she says. "It's like the little engine that could. We knew we could do it," says Bernheim. "It started with nothing, and it's grown … It's an incredible network of unbelievable women." n This group of young women (and their coach, at right) are members of the 2017 Novato High School girls lacrosse team.
