Yamani Albert found success as soon as he opened
Straight Drop Seafood & Catering on Reilly Road last
year. People lined up to eat his platters of fresh seafood,
served steamed, grilled or fried along with his special
secret sauce, and they still do.
Yamani is grateful for their business and aims to keep
pleasing his customers with excellent food and attentive
service. Yamani is opening another location. By strength
and God's will, Drop By The River will open soon.
Yamani learned to cook as a boy from his mother. Then
he joined the Army as a cook and learned how to cook for
a hungry crowd. He kept cooking, for family and friends,
when he shifted to other duties in the military. When he
re-entered civilian life, it was only natural for him to make
a new career out of his well-honed love of cooking.
