The Delta Chi Educational Foundation will honor our founders this year with 1,890 minutes of giving over Founders Day weekend. Our goal is to double our efforts from Giving Tuesday last year, and raise $120,000 in unrestricted donations during this time. We'll begin at 6 p.m. CT on October 12, 2018. Wait … why October 12, that's not Founders Day? Actually, 6 p.m. CT is the time that Founders Day begins at the eternal resting place of our spiritual founder, Sir Edward Coke, in Tittleshall, England. We'll broadcast and accept donations in support of Delta Chi for 1,890 minutes, ending at 1:30 a.m. on October 14. We'll also provide stories about Delta Chis past and present. There will be challenges all day and we'll even have a virtual tour of 314 Church Street! Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the pres- ent, and support the future of Delta Chi. Every chapter is being asked to join in the fun and raise money for the future of Delta Chi. Each chapter will have its very own Crowdfunding page to raise money on Founders Day. We ask that every chapter set up a Founders Day event and raise money for Delta Chi. Honor our founders by banding together to help Del- ta Chi take a huge step forward in one day. The top three chapters will even receive a prize from the DCEF.
