G amma eta will start the fall semester fresh from the Pike 150th Convention with a 100+ Man Chapter award, a National Workday award, and a recruitment award. Continuing our success during the intramural season, our men were able to place top five in three sports and top three in the basketball bracket. As many of us know, our success comes not just from one individual, but from our teamwork. Recruitment Reaches Record-breaking Numbers With recruitment in August, we set goals to beat our high numbers from last year and remain one of the top chapters on campus. e two recruitment events held over the summer brought more than 60 potential new members interested in the Pike brotherhood. Members Excel in Leadership Across Campus Our members are involved in organizations around campus, including Campus Crusaders, Baptist Student Association, Transfer Student Association, Ducks Unlimited, Red Cross, and an executive position holder in the Collegiate Cattleman's Association. Chapter Gives Back to the Community e men completed more than 15 community service activities and are as involved in the com- munity as they are on campus. e chapter is also preparing for two fall philanthropy events the weekend of November 10 benefitting the Taylor Trudeau Cycle for Life Foundation. Gamma eta Encourages Individual Growth We have set goals and set up programs to help those struggling academically, financially, or men- tally. We have passed updated bylaws to hold members accountable for their actions and model the national fraternity's holistic approach to expectations, intervention, and accountability. e safety and health of each brother is paramount in living by our founder's ideals every day. You're Invited! Parents and alumni are welcome to visit the Pike house at every home game during the football, basketball, and baseball seasons. Gamma eta Chapter would like to thank our parents and alumni for building us up to the men we are today. Without your sacrifices and contributions we would not be a top-tier fraternity of men at Mississippi State University. We will aim for our goals as we begin this fall semester with hopes that you will join and support our chapter.
