BQP Page 3 T his month instead of spotlighting one alumnus and updating everyone about what they've been up to since graduation, we thought we'd highlight the special group of men who graduated this spring. The founders class was so instrumental in getting us started on the right foot and has been a tremendous asset to our Theta Delta Chapter. They took a chance to join a group of young men who wanted to make a difference on the campus at Ohio State. Led by Brock Griffin, Utah '13, who helped us assemble the class, and initial President Dan Granger '16, these young men did a great job in making sure the Beta Theta Pi Theta Delta Chapter will have a very successful future. Imagine what it would be like to be recruited by fraternities on campus, but decide to make your own way to join a group of men committed to the Men of Principle concept and know that it is your responsibility to put everything together and set it off on the right path. Those young men graduated and to the right is a short list of where many of them have chosen to pursue the next chapter in their careers. We think you'll find it very impressive! In the Spotlight: Theta Delta's Founders Class Beta Theta Pi Theta Delta Spring 2018 Graduates • Dominic Bagnoli: Post-baccalaureate program, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine • Andrew Getz: IT recruiter Columbus, Ohio • Andrew Giltmier: University of Cincinnati College of Medicine • Thomas Kancyan: PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Cleveland, Ohio • Ian Kennedy: Nestle | Washington, D.C. • Jordan Kopman: Asst. pricing analyst at Abercrombie & Fitch | Columbus, Ohio • Joshua Kuhlman: Columbus Consulting Columbus, Ohio • Jacob Larger: Testing analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions Tampa, Florida • John McLaughlin: JP Morgan New York • Michael Mosholder: Ohio State Moritz College of Law • Peyton Osmundson: Idaho Medical School • John Reed: Ford | Nashville, Tennessee • Gregory Riley: Oracle | Austin, Texas • Austin Schoeffler: Ohio State College of Medicine • Brian Spitnale: Virginia Tech College of Architecture | Blacksburg, Virginia • Corbin Sturgill: General Motors Detroit, Michigan • You will be contacted before your speaking date for a quick summary of your career. Theta Delta Implements Alumni Speaker Series Ask How You Can Get Involved! T he Theta Delta Chapter is proud to announce we have started the Real Life Mondays alumni speaker series. One of our goals with this program is to make it easier for alumni to get involved with the Chapter, giving up only some of their time in order to further expand current members' knowledge and visibility into different industries and career paths. Alumni are being asked to give a short, 30-minute presentation on their career path, accomplishments and lessons learned throughout their career, useful skills to have in their industry, and any current opportunities available for the active brothers. Every presentation will end with a 15-minute Q&A session. The active brothers maintain one of the highest GPAs on campus and would love to learn from the experiences of influential and high-achieving alumni. This is a great opportunity for all alumni to give back to the Chapter. We are looking for alumni to come and speak to the Chapter this fall. If you are interested in sharing your experiences with the brothers, please contact the Vice President of Communications Maneesh Somisetty '20 at somisetty.2@osu.edu.
