The Theta Delta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi after this spring's initiation ceremony. T he spring 2018 semester was a great learning experience and success for the Theta Delta Chapter. We initiated a class of 28 dedicated and excited new members. We also held our most successful philanthropy event to date, a concert featuring two of our Chapter's DJs and headlined by up-and-coming artist Bryce Vine, who was recently featured on Late Night with Seth Meyers. This was the first Chapter event hosted at the new house, and it was wildly successful. The concert raised $13,000 for Columbus' homeless youth center, Star House. Star House gives homeless youth, ages 14 to 24, a place to go during the day for meals, clothes, and tips on how to get a job. This summer has been a big one for individuals in the Chapter. We have brothers with internships all over, including Ohio, South Carolina, and even London. Another brother was in OCS training with the United States military. At Beta Theta Pi's Convention this summer, Theta Delta Chapter was given the Excellence in Risk Management award. We're very proud of this achievement, and hope to maintain that level of excellence. This fall, we look to continue our work with the University and other Greek organizations to better our Chapter and our community. If alumni are ever in the area, please swing by the house and introduce yourself to our members. It's always great having you back at Theta Delta. We would not have had a successful first year in our new house without the hard work and dedication of so many alumni, undergraduates, and friends, and it is gratifying to see many of you step forward with such generous financial and volunteer support. FOUNDING FATHERS GRADUATE THIS SPRING We are proud to say that our first graduating class of founding fathers graduated this spring. They are a very strong, smart, and talented group of individuals. Four are pursuing a career in medicine, one in law, one in architecture, several with fortune 500 companies, and many more exciting opportunities. They are grateful for their experience in Beta and for the alumni they've interacted with. To see a list of graduates, see page 3.
