These go to the military families who can use them up to 6 months after expiration. Please help us in this endeavor to assist our Veterans. Coupons can be left at Post, Mt. Quail Restaurant, General Store, Community Thrift Store, or Lutheran Church. We are also collecting labels for the school and National Home for Children. You can leave items at same locations as coupons. Seeking Volunteers for annual Quartzsite Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 27th. The Town of Quartzsite Parks & Recreation Board will again host the annual Halloween Pumpkin Park- way on Saturday, October 27th. The next organizational meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 13th at 5:30pm in the Community Cen- ter, located at 295 E. Chandler. Volunteers are wanted for your new ideas, decorating, judging, helping with games, registration, baking, donating candy, helping with plans. Youth are needed for helping in the haunted house - acting during the event, decorating and breaking down the following day. Quartzsite community really comes together to create a wonderful alter- native to traditional trick-or-treat- ing in our unique community. Each year, it grows and changes. If you'd like to help with this fun fam- ily event, please join the Facebook group, Halloween in Quartzsite to stay updated on all the happenings! Businesses, RV Parks, Organiza- tions, and Individuals are encour- aged to set up a booth/table/space along the Pumpkin Parkway (along the walking path between the Com- munity Center & Town Hall on E. Quail Trail.) Get creative and have some fun with your decorations, too! Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Station! Please join us 5:30pm Thursday, SEPT. 13 at the Community Center, 295 E.
