The Delta Prose St. Anthony Hall at the University of Pennsylvania Brothers and Friends of the Delta Chapter, I hope this note finds you doing well and look- ing forward to a summer filled with pleasures pure and loy. I am happy to report another successful year in Philadelphia. is was our 169th consecutive year of active brotherhood and our 111th year on Locust Walk. If you have not come by recently, I encourage you and your families to visit soon. e house, under constant supervision of houseman Bill Washlick, looks better than I have seen in years; the food (believe it or not) is delicious; and the brothers are both impressive and hos- pitable. Most importantly, our rich traditions and rituals are still as you would have remem- bered them. Stepping up to the stoop on Lo- cust Walk brings back wonderful memories, a sense of home, and a realization that this was the institution that allowed us to form our closest friendships. Today's Hall boasts a talented and well-round- ed group of undergraduates, who serve as leaders around campus. Besides still throwing the best parties on campus, our young broth- ers have received recognition for their aca- demics, their athletic achievements, and for their dedication to the community. Our strong alumni network in Philadelphia, New York, and beyond remains close with undergraduate leadership and we are pleased with the direc- tion of the brotherhood. Last year's Phase 1 of renovations proved suc- cessful. We have received positive feedback from undergraduates, alumni, and families. More importantly, the proof is in the pudding, as we had a full house of brothers and turnout for Homecoming and reunions was as strong as we have seen in decades. HELP THE DELTA CAMPAIGN REACH ITS $3.5 MILLION GOAL e success of Phase 1 was also vital to the Delta Campaign, as it proved that your contri- butions are being well spent under the watch- ful eyes of Mark Thompson Δ'62 and Vince Browning Δ'85. is summer, as part of Phase 2, we are replacing the boiler, hot water heat- ing system, basement HVAC, and back garden broken door arch. I am happy to say that we have reached 43% participation and raised more than $2.3 million for the campaign. ere is still a significant amount of structural and aesthetic work ahead of us, including new floors for the first floor, reinforcing the north façade, and renovating the basement. We still need to raise another $1.2 million and are dedicated to reaching a minimum of 50% par- ticipation. For those who have made their five- year pledges, thank you! For those who made a one-time contribution, if you can extend it over the course of the next three years, it will go a very long way. Last, for those who have not given, we ask you to please consider a tax- deductible donation that can be pledged (via cash, credit card, or stock) over the course of five years. It was great to see many of you both at re- unions in Philadelphia and at our recent cocktail event in New York. I am very proud of what we have accomplished and thank you all for your continued involvement, generosity, and consideration. Have a great summer!
